We wanted to have a photo that expresses everything Muro is. Nothing overpowering, yet something subtle and insightful that well does just that…and below is the result.
The photo itself was taken in Tachikawa, a suburb of Tokyo. It was after some kind of event and photographically easily missed. Two exposures were made on a Leica M3 in film and this was the better of the two. In an industry of uniformity and conventions we strive to be original represented by the skewed bench from all the others positioned in such a uniform manner. Always do the opposite of what’s expected~
