As SAS celebrates its 80th anniversary, travellers on board will be greeted by the scent of a small perfume house located in the Uppland forest. Together with the Swedish supplier Livv Group Muro Scents has developed a hand wash för the whole SAS fleet, along with the cosmetics in the anniversary kit handed out in business class.

As the anniversary celebrations begin SAS will deliver 80,000 kits, introducing its first ever co-branded onboard amenities in collaboration with Muro.

"SAS started flying 80 years ago, and the first destination was New York. That's my route. Growing up, I flew Stockholm to New York and back several times a year, and Nordic Musk comes out of that life between the two cities. Without knowing it, SAS helped making Nordic Musk. A few decades later, they're getting it back from that little guy. SAS and Muro are a perfect match", says Wolf Fischer, co-founder and perfumer, Muro Scents.

Nordic Musk

Nordic Musk is an original fragrance inspired by Wolf Fischers love for his two hometowns, Stockholm and New York. It is Muros best-selling fragrance and has a devoted following since its launch at the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo in 2017. Now, its distinctive scent will accompany the SAS passengers on their journeys through the sky.

Notes: amber, patchouli, rose, frankincense, musk and vanilla. Warm amber, softened by rose and frankincense, settling into a quiet, lingering musk and vanilla.

Muro Scents Co is a Swedish perfume house founded in Tokyo and based in the forest of north Uppland. It was founded by Wolf Fischer and Biola Kadiri. Every scent is crafted from scratch by perfumer Wolf Fischer. Muro Scents core collection has five scents: Palo, Bakai, Nordic Musk, Kyara and Arctic Tar.
